There are a couple of ways to change seat assignments. If you have a Onepass number you can sign in to your account by clicking the "Sign In" link on the top right and your existing reservations should pop up for you to click on and change. If you don't have a Onepass account, click on "Change/View Existing Reservations" under the "Reservations" tab on the top left. There you can pull up your flight by entering your confirmation code and last name and you can change your seats.

I asked Alex about seat assignments and was told to log on at the bottom of the page. There was no log on on the page, only more things to ask about. How to I find where I log on to change or select a seat on Continental?

Thanks Jamea! My husband, Will made all the videos on my website. He works in media so that's why they look so good. As far as the music goes....he listens to a lot of stuff and takes his time to pick what he thinks works. If the video is from a foreign country, he tries to pick music from that country. For the blimp video, he says the place he often eats breakfast at plays that song all the time so that is where he found that one! I didn't even know that until just now myself!

Alena,
I first found a video of yours on youtube and I was immediately hooked! You are such a fabulous woman!! I equally caught the traveling bug when I was young, so whenever it's a dreary day or I'm stuck in the office I pull up one of your videos and live vicariously through you. However I do have a quick question for you... Where do you get your music for these videos? I must know!! Each song fits in so well but no artist or song title is pubished. If you or another one of your subscribers can help me with this dilemma it would be much appreciated!!

Bryce Canyon is my favorite National Park in Utah. I enjoy the contrast of the red rock with white and how the sun beams off.

Yeah...I've never gotten an international upgrade either, but I've used miles for first class international a few times....so worth it. Continental does have some pretty good business class airfare sales to Europe though. Usually over the summer or Thanksgiving time. I've seen prices as low as $1400.

When I was silver I was stunned the first time I got an automatic complimentary upgrade. I thought it was some kind of mistake. Then it started happening more frequently. When I went gold I started getting it about every other domestic trip I took, so it was great (though I've discovered it's harder to get it for the really common business destinations like Chicago and Vegas. I'm really low on the upgrade when I go there, but I've managed to get a couple of upgrades there if i travel at really weird times). I've yet to go platinum, but I've been fairly satisfied with gold. I'm actually kind of afraid to go platinum because once I taste the forbidden fruit, I'm going to start booking distant trips just for the sake of building my mileage balance and I'm going to go broke!

Continental does make it virtually impossible to get an international upgrade. Used to be you could buy it with miles, but now they make you buy it with miles plus a lot of money! I've never actually had an international upgrade.

Thanks Jeff! I'm a Delta person....but I know quite a few Continental people. It's a bummer that the good programs keep getting watered down. You are right that a credit card can be the key to Elite status. That's how I got it on Delta. We have the Amex that you get triple miles for airfare purchases and double for gas and groceries so it does add up fast if you use it for everything.

Did you ever see the Frasier episode where he is at a spa and everytime he gets into one exclusive room, he realizes there is a better one? Elite staus is the same right? You are psyched when you get Silver only to realize it's not that great compared to Gold, etc. Regardless it's better than being on the low level. We've had a lot of luck upgrading and getting business class with miles. The problem is, once you get out of coach it's near impossible to go back.

It's a bummer, but I've discovered that the Continenal Mastercard is far better for miles than the Amex anyway (if you're a regular Continental/United flyer, that is. Newark's my home airport, so I fly Continenal pretty much exclusively). I've more or less stopped using my Amex Gold card in favor of the Continental Mastercard. The biggest perk, in addition to getting double miles for each airline purchase, is the fact that you get 1,000 Elite qualifying miles for every $5,000 you spend. Sound like a lot of money to spend, but I use the card both personally and for business travel and I pretty much hit that threshold every other month. It's nice to get the qualifying miles, which go into my account as "flexible elite miles" I can use in any calendar year. So for instance, if I'm on the cusp of Elite Gold qualification I'll transfer some of the flexible miles to push me over. If I'm fine for that year and will qualify without them, I'll just save them for the next year.
