More than 100 U.S. National Parks are offering free admission on August 15th & 16th. It’s a great way to spend the weekend if you are trying to save money and an opportunity to see some of the most beautiful places in America. Check out this list of participating parks to find one near you:

  1. This is such a cool thing to do, especially in a down economy. Though I have to say I’ve bought the America the Beautiful pass twice ($80 a year) and it’s really paid for itself. I wish people realized how great our National Parks really are!

I wish the same TM…that’s why I keep blogging about them! One good thing about the recession may be that people discover some of the beautiful places that exist closer to home. We do the annual pass too and it’s a great deal if you visit at least 2-3 parks in the course of the year. Can’t beat free though!
