Last weekend my sister stopped by and the weather was so nice that we decided to pay a visit to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. It’s very easy to reach from Manhattan and such a great escape from the city. I especially love the rose and bonsai tree gardens and had fun spotting tons of birds, including a hawk! Also in the area are the small but very fun Prospect Park Zoo and the fantastic Brooklyn Museum of Art.
