TripAdvisor’s Dirtiest Hotels 2009
TripAdvisor has released their annual list of the 10 dirtiest hotels in the United States. New York City is lucky enough to be home to numbers 1 and 3!
Check it out here and prepare to be grossed out! You have to wonder how places with such horrific reviews stay in business.
I’m sad to say that I actually stayed in one of the hotels that made their Dirtiest list — Hotel Carter in New York City. Never again! Truly, the most disgusting place I stayed at!

HA…NYC is definitely dicey when it comes to hotels. It really is a place where you usually get what you pay for. Anything under $250/night is risky unless you have an airtight recommendation from a trustworthy source!
