Aquatica

Today, SeaWorld celebrates the grand opening of its new water park, Aquatica in Orlando, Florida. Like all theme parks in the area, Aquatica is fun on a massive scale. Guests can enjoy whitewater rapid rides as well as sandy beaches featuring private cabanas with waiter service. The park also boasts one of the world’s largest interactive water play areas with a 15,000 square foot pool. Although there are 36 waterslides, the main attraction is the Dolphin Plunge, a 300 foot slide that drops riders through a clear tube in a giant tank filled with black-and-white Commerson’s Dolphins, often called “baby Shamus” for their resemblance to the famous killer whale.
