The Best Carry-On Kit

Let’s face it, fitting all of your liquids and gels into a quart sized bag when you fly can be tricky. Most travel containers on the market are are a full 3 ounces, the maximum allowed, but often you don’t need that much of a product. Having your precious Ziploc space eaten up by half empty bottles is not cool.
I was so excited when I found this 16 piece carry-on kit with tiny leakproof jars and bottles, particularly the mini spray bottle. The containers range in size from 1/8 to 2 ounces and the kit also includes 36 sticker labels and a quart sized bag so you can just fill and go!

I flew roundtrip LA to NY a couple weeks ago with a carryon and they didn’t even check my liquids bag…are they even monitoring this anymore or have the rules relaxed? (Maybe the security lines I went through were just slacking.)

They are definitely not relaxed about this. When you go through security you are supposed to pull out Ziploc and put it in it’s own bin to go through the X-ray. I’m assuming you left it packed it in your bag and maybe they saw it through the monitor or didn’t see it. Just know that if you don’t take the bag out and present it, they may give you trouble or take it away.

It depends on what airport… Houston IAH is insane about it, as is Boston. And forget about Detroit – the worst of all.
